CFB Galaxy Team Galaxy

Team Galaxy is a 3D college football map organized into conference solar systems for the loaded season, with statistical profile matches available in the team inspector.

CFB Gravity Core

The CFB Gravity Core is the central visual anchor. Conference systems share a protected inner ring; rankings, ratings, win percentage, scoring margin, offensive PPA, and defensive PPA determine whether a system stays there or is offset farther out.

Visual encoding

Conference suns organize the map, team orbit order follows membership tenure, planet size reflects AP rank with a strength fallback when poll data is absent, color reflects conference, and selected teams expose statistical profile matches separately from physical orbit distance.

Guided tours

Guided fly-bys include one 30-second Galaxy orientation, the latest AP Top 25 transmission, My Team briefings and statistical-neighborhood tours, team-season voyages, and contextual conference or rivalry journeys. Weekly storylines appear only when the loaded artifact includes real weekly game and ranking context.
